A 14-year-old boy was in hospital but out of danger after being stabbed in Côte-St-Luc on Sunday.
The stabbing happened when an argument between the boy and a man in his 40s escalated in the lobby of an apartment building on Westminster Ave., south of Côte-St-Luc Rd., said Jean-Pierre Brabant, a spokesperson for Montreal police.

Brabant was unable to say what the relationship was between the boy and the man, who was arrested by police and questioned.
He said he drives her to the doctor, pharmacy and shops daily. My mum is very sick and I use the car to look after my mum, he said. She lives by herself. I look after her all the time. I do everything for her. Mr Eastin said he noticed his car had disappeared when he got up in the morning to get a cup of coffee.
