The Westland District Council has agreed to investigate a new 200m wall to protect Franz Josef’s sewerage ponds in the wake of a radical shift in the nearby.
A beloved Westland poet and domestic violence advocate was supposed to perform at a poetry-slam event Wednesday night. Instead, she was killed in early January and the event was held in her honor.
The two attempted to steal items from Falsetta’s Market, at 2200 Pittsfield Blvd, around 2 p.m. then threatened employees when confronted, police said.
