House of the Week: Owner remodels old Westvale doctor’s office, giving it a ‘fresh start’

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Realtor Tommy Kehoskie had quite the “coronavirus project” last year.
After receiving what he called a “lesson in politics,” he got to work remodeling a former doctor’s office in Westvale, creating a modern, open concept home with tons of possibilities.
The original “Saltbox Colonial” at 2800 West Genesee Street was built in 1929 by the Schuyler family. In the 1970s, it was purchased by a doctor to be used as an office.
There were once eight patient examination rooms and a waiting room.
