Cumming was in town to take her son Leonard Cummings III to the Naval Academy, where he was to begin midshipman training. Michelle was reportedly sitting on a hotel patio when she was struck by a stray bullet. It s possible the shots came from a nearby SUV, but police are still searching for suspects.
