Cricket Fiji has set its focus on more development programs to enhance and promote the sport.
Cricket Fiji tournament director Sitiveni Rokoro said there was a lot of emphasis done on developing the sport on outer islands and rural areas.
He made the comment yesterday during the Easter Championship in Suva.
“This is to revive the sport and get people back into playing cricket after the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions,” Rokoro said.
“We’ll focus on the next phase of development which is our High Performance Unit to prepare our men and women national teams.
