Program #250 (July 2 at 8:00pm and July 3 at 3:00pm)
Emerging in the early 2010s, Texas-based duo Jamestown Revival specialize in harmony-laden, Western-tinged Americana-folk songs in the vein of contemporaries like Lone Bellow, Shovels & Rope, and the Lumineers.
Inspired by the likes of Willie Nelson, John Prine, and Western author Louis L Amour, among others, the group was formed in 2011 around the talents of childhood friends Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance.
Growing-up together in the small Texas town of Magnolia, Clay and Chance spent their formative years listening to artists like Creedence Clearwater Revival, Willie Nelson, the Everly Brothers, and Guy Clark, each eventually carving out his own unique niche as a solo artist.
