republican congressman in iowa. what s interesting about that district is on one hand it is a traditionally labor union district, the heart and soul of the iowa democratic party at times, but there s a trumpy feel to it at times too. the fact that iowa that this one is early on the chopping block, that would have me nervous in every iowa district if i were a republican. i think so. i think iowa has become a sort of classic swing state. it s back being vacillating back. it s now back in that category. i think that s very, very important. i think the one in western p.a. is too, because don t forget, unlike some of the other places, that really was trump country in this last election. outside of allegheny county, which is pittsburgh, every county in western pennsylvania went for trump. the fact that they re thinking of giving up on that race there, not the one that connor lamb won but next door i think is quite significant because it shows trump country can be vulnerable for house
like connor lamb did in western pa, like danny o connor is in his district now, you have to represent people. they want to look in your eye, know where your heart is, and then they trust you to go to washington, d.c. and make decisions on behalf of them. these issues are complicated. danny has been that. the president s chaotic behavior inciting conflict, trying to divide puts danny o connor, a candidate that grew up in this district in a very, very good light as someone that can maybe go to washington and combat some of that. i think he s in a good position now, his politics are good for his district. can t let you go without asking about the latest division the president has sewn, that effects ohioans. lebron james was just interviewed by the dumbest man
this is a referendum on donald trump already. can they play yeah, you can take out in the bronx and conner lamb and you know western p.a. and take your pick, find your candidate, district by district or do they need a national message? i think they need to make cheer to their individual members and their individual challengers that you run the best away for you to win the district because you know being pure and losing is no achievement, right? and so i know the parties are going to have a robust discussion going into november and it is to have a more interesting elections going into november. willingness is the only thing here and out, you know, connor lamb, won his way and cortez won her way. you can t flip those districts and democrats are dumb if they
