The facility joins the line-up of the four existing terminals in the port, which are named Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal, City Cruise Terminal, Ocean Cruise Terminal and Mayflower Cruise Terminal.

In a competition in the UK to name the Port of Southampton s new dedicated fifth terminal for cruiseships, has been announced as the Horizon Cruise Terminal . According to ABP, construction work is on track, and the English Channel port will be welcoming ships alongside the terminal from the summer

The UK s main cruise port, Southampton has announced that nearly 4,000 name suggestions from across the world entered into a competition, to name the English Channel port s fifth dedicated terminal, the Horizon Cruise Terminal .
Associated British Ports (ABP) yesterday announced the name put forward by Anna Chojnacka, having been chosen at random from multiple entries of the same name. Anna wins a 7-night cruise holiday offered by the terminal’s cruise partners, MSC Cruises.
THE latest £55 million cruise terminal in Southampton has been named Horizon Cruise Terminal, following a competition which called for suggestions backed by the Bournemouth Daily Echo. A competition was launched this month in partnership with the Bournemouth Echo, Daily Echo and Dorset Echo to find a name for the terminal befitting to its significance of the city and surrounding area.
