WINCHESTER Colin and Jackie Kuche are peddling hard to get their bike and coffee shop in downtown Winchester up and running by May 1 in addition to holding full-time jobs and being parents.
What’s stopping them? Nothing.
Rural Cyclery Shop and Service, which will be at 21 S. Main St., will be a business of passion for Colin Kuche, who is not only an avid cyclist but has worked in bike repair shops since he was a kid and also spent many years working for TREK Bicycle Corp.

Take adjustable oil regulators, which maintain the oil level in compressors. “Those things are the bane of my existence,” he said in an episode released on January 25. “Let’s go with fixed-level [oil regulators] and stop messing around with adjustment mechanisms. People get in and adjust those things and all bets are off.”
