NEW YORK - The NYPD is hunting for three men wanted in connection to an assault and robbery on Staten Island.
According to authorities, just before 11:30 p.m. on April 30, the three suspects were near Wester Avenue and Steuben Street when a 58-year-old man approached them, complaining about loud music playing from their cars.
The trio then attacked the man, knocking him to the ground and punching and kicking him in the head and torso.
HENDERSON â The yearâs first homicide in Henderson and Vance County claimed the life of 18-year-old Antonio Williams Jr. on Monday.
Police Chief Marcus Barrow said detectives believe Williams was shot near the corner of Wester Avenue and East Winder Street.
But police learned of the incident after officers were summoned to Maria Parham Healthâs emergency department because a person was being treated there for a gunshot wound.
When they got there, they were told that Williams had arrived in a private vehicle, and that the people whoâd brought him to the hospital had already left.
Williams died shortly afterward, Barrow said.
