Updated: 7:52 PM CDT May 6, 2021 WestCom Emergency Communications confirmed Thursday that 911 services in central Iowa are restored following issues caused by a cut wire.The Urbandale Fire Department announced on social media that 911 services in the western suburbs of Clive, Norwalk, Urbandale and West Des Moines were impacted.According to the WestCom Emergency Communications Facebook page, numerous centers across the state reported 911 service impacts due to a phone systems fiber cut.WestCom said its systems are restored and 911 calls are being routed as normal.
