FRAMINGHAM Two MetroWest residents will be part of the official vote Monday that puts the next U.S. president and vice president in the White House.
“It’s a huge honor,” Framingham resident Norma Shulman said. “This year, with all that we’ve been through, it’s a particular special honor to be able to go in and cast an official vote for Massachusetts voters, on behalf of them, for a new president.”
Shulman and Westborough’s Kate Donaghue are two of the 11 electors chosen to cast Massachusetts’ votes in the Electoral College. However, one elector, Auburn resident Ronald Valerio, died last week and will need to be replaced most likely by one of two alternates.
