We speak to the make-up artist about developing her craft, working on the Yohji Yamamoto runway shows, and how AR is changing the industry
For make-up artist Jenny Coombs, everything comes down to skin. “I am very passionate about skin looking like skin and all of the beautiful textures to play with,” she says. After honing what she calls her “skin craft” while assisting artists like Maki Ryoke and Lucia Pieroni, Coombs broke out on her own, bringing her signature style of luminous skin always with a pop of colour everywhere from Burberry to
British Vogue and
Buffalo Zine.

In South Bucks, we are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful green spaces, including parks, where, along with sunbathing, people can have picnics, go for walks, meet family and friends and much more. Parks and green spaces include The Rye, Hughenden Park, Kingsmead Recreation Ground, Desborough Park, Wooburn Park, Totteridge Recreation Ground, Higginson Park, Riley Park, Gossmore Rec, Redpitch Park, Holtspur Recreation Ground and many more.
3. We certainly think so. There is plenty to see and do, contrary to popular belief. Plus, the schools here are some of the best in the country and we have the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty right at our doorstep. As with anywhere, parts of the town are a bit shaky but overall, it is a nice place to live (in our opinion).

Downton Abbey A number of interior scenes of the opulent 20th Century historical drama were filmed at West Wycombe House.
The Butchers Tap (GQ magazine) A Bucks pub was named one of the best pubs in the UK by GQ and is definitely one to visit for a drink when restrictions ease. The list named some of Britain’s oldest pub and top chefs but it was Marlow’s Michelin star chef that made the cut. In the heart of Marlow Tom Kerridge brings two declining industries - high-street butchers and traditional pubs - and combines the two ingeniously. Inside you’ll find Hereford-cross Aberdeen Angus slabs dry-ageing in the windows besides cast-iron mincers adorning the walls. Packington corn-fed chicken is kept in the chiller alongside game from West Wycombe Estate, and strings of sausages made in-house.
