All Wet: Danbury Police Search Pond to Collect Evidence in Arrest

Nothing pisses me off like when my socks gets wet. Let's just say, if I had to enter a pond to get evidence, I'd not be pleased with the suspect. I'd be especially upset if it were a Danbury pond, the Hat City is not known for it's pristine bodies of water. I'm gonna need to run home and get some fresh socks.

Danbury Man Hit By SUV Driven By Bethel Resident

Read / Add Comments A Fairfield County man was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while walking in a busy roadway. John Ponseigo, 62, of Danbury, was hit by a 2018 Honda CR-V driven by James McClure, 72, of Bethel, around 3:43 p.m. in the area of West Wooster and Pleasant streets, said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams. A preliminary investigation indicates that McClure, was traveling westbound on West Wooster Street when his vehicle struck Ponseigo who was walking in the roadway, Williams said. Ponseigo was transported to Danbury Hospital where he is being treated for injuries sustained in the collision.
