Smoke from prescribed burn to be visible around Weaverville
The Shasta-Trinity National Forest will conduct a prescribed burn on April 21 within the Weaverville Community Forest.

WEAVERVILLE, Calif. – Firefighters have a planned burn Wednesday in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest near Weaverville.
Crews with the Shasta-Trinity National Forest said they plan to burn 22 acres along the West Weaver Creek drainage area.
Smoke from the project will be visible from many areas around Weaverville. Residual smoke may be visible for several days.
