RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TENN - Tennessee residents are invited to reserve native trees to plant at their homes, farms and in their communities during the 10th annual Tennessee Tree Day event, taking place on March 16th, 2024. Online tree reservations are open to the public now through March 4, 2024, and residents are encouraged to reserve trees as soon as possible to get the best selection. (MURFREESBORO) On Wednesday morning during the 9:00 o clock hour, Murfreesboro Police received a call about a man driving a black Nissan Altima erratically around West Thompson Lane and Leanna Road. It was heading toward Broad Street.
Motorists helped police follow the vehicle, and at one point citizens told officers that the driver appeared to have fallen asleep as he neared Medical Center Parkway.
The car was stopped about two-blocks after that on NW Broad Street at the Blue Raider Bridge.
