HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County recorded 21 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 as reported Tuesday by the Green River District Health Department.
The GRDHD reported 188 new cases in its seven-county district on Tuesday with six of those in Webster County and two in Union County. Daviess County had 124 new cases along with 16 in Ohio County, 13 in McLean County and six in Hancock County.
The COVID-related deaths of two Daviess County residents and one Ohio County resident were also reported Tuesday.
The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, rose to 54.7 in Henderson County as of Monday, which held it in the red or critical level. Union County and Webster County remained in the critical level at 44.7 and 39.7, respectively.

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County deputies were dispatched to the West Side Monday morning after receiving reports of a man who was run over by a big rig.
Deputies were called to the 12900 block of Highway 90 around 9 a.m. to respond to the fatal incident, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
The man who was killed was a crew worker who was filling one of the tires with air when the truck started rolling, a sergeant on the scene confirmed. The man tried to back up, but he fell as the big rig ran him over.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Jacksonville Sheriff s Office is looking for the person responsible for shooting a man on the Westside Monday morning.
Police responded to 103rd Street and Firestone Road at 5:45 a.m. in response to a call of a person shot. When they arrived, they found a man in his 30s with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a hospital where police say he is expected to recover.
JSO s initial investigation indicated that the scene of the shooting occurred near Wheat Road, which is a bit further south.

A 30-year-old man has been charged after police said he got into a shootout with officers on the West Side Monday night.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle with three people at approximately 9:54 p.m. in the 3800-block of W. Polk, police said.
Police said the front passenger, 30-year-old Tramin Harris, fled on foot and fired on officers.
Officers fired back and struck the man, who was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment.
No officers were struck by gunfire.
