BATON ROUGE - After repeated requests by the WBRZ Investigative Unit, body camera footage from May was released Friday morning showing exactly what happened when a Baton Rouge man said he was beaten by police during an arrest.
Police said the suspect shot the Ada County Sheriff's Deputy at a traffic stop and drove off. The suspect was later killed in a confrontation with police.
A 14-year-old boy was charged in a fatal shooting in March in the South Loop neighborhood that killed a 17-year-old boy and wounded a 15-year-old, police said. The boy, whose name was not released due to his age, was arrested Monday in the 100 block of South Central Park Avenue after he was identified as the person who fatally wounded Jeremy L. Smith, 17, during a teen take over in the South .
