West Norfolk green groups to host online climate hustings for elections
| Updated: 11:44, 06 April 2021
Candidates in West Norfolk are being invited to set out their environmental case to voters ahead of May s local elections.
Two campaign groups are teaming up to host an online hustings event dedicated to the climate crisis next week.
And organisers say they want to hear how those seeking our votes in the county council polls on May 6 will work for a green and fair recovery from the coronavirus crisis.
Environmental campaigners say scenes like this in Burnham Market prove the climate crisis is getting worse.
The event, which takes place next Thursday, April 15, from 7pm, is being organised by the Fenland and West Norfolk Friends of the Earth and King s Lynn Klimate Concern.
