SAN ANTONIO – The main lanes of Loop 410 on the West Side will be closed nightly this week for construction.
The highway will be closed in both directions from West Military Drive to Marbach Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Monday night and ending the morning of May 31.
The Texas Department of Transportation tweeted that drivers should expect delays as traffic will be directed to frontage roads.
Crews will be conducting bridge work during this time, according to TxDOT.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a shooting on the city’s far West Side early Friday morning.
Officers were called around 2:30 a.m. to the 2600 block of Westward Drive, not far from Highway 90 and West Military Drive, after receiving word of shots fired.
According to police, officers arrived to find two men in their 20s walking away from the scene with apparent gunshot wounds. Police said the officers made contact with the individuals but both refused to cooperate.
