The Environment Agency is telling residents to stay cautious as wet weather continues to batter Hampshire. Twyford and Hensting, Hursley, Bramdean and Cheriton, Alresford and Hambledon are all at risk of groundwater flooding. Although the alerts are at the lowest level, locals should be prepared. A spokesperson for Colden Common Parish Council, relaying a message from the Environment Agency, said: The Groundwater level at West Meon Hut is high and rising. 2The level is still increasing as a result of the wet weather recorded at the end of January and beginning of February. The current rate of rise at West Meon is 0.1m per day.
