Old Thyme Country Market to reopen, fire investigation closed
Ohio State Fire Marshal s investigating one fire that killed a man and another that destroyed a local business
COSHOCTON - The Ohio State Fire Marshal s Office has closed an investigation relating to a business that burned down in January, but a case involving a fatal fire the same month is still open.
A blaze on Jan. 18 at the Old Thyme Country Market, 51323 County Road 16, just outside West Lafayette, rendered the structure a total loss. The West Lafayette Volunteer Fire Department at the time said it arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from a back corner of the building. There were no injuries and the business was closed at the time.
