Reporter things are tracking in our favor, although its still a strong storm and presents concerns to us. The movement is taking the storm farther away from us, although im beginning to detect a curve to the north that we are expecting later today. Eventually well see it dive back toward the coastline later tonight and tomorrow before it does another turn and goes on out to sea. As it comes back looks like it will strengthen a little bit. Its so far to the east the impact on the jersey shore may not be as severe as originally thinking. Because the storm is so far away, any rain we saw earlier has dissipated off the maps.
