WEST HAVEN Bailey Middle School has been moved to remote learning through Wednesday because there are teachers in quarantine due to possible COVID-19 exposure, Superintendent of Schools Neil
Cavallaro said Monday.
Cavallaro said one teacher and two students tested positive, but the way the student cohorts are arranged at Bailey, “several teachers a day may go into a class.”
“Therefore out of an abundance of caution we thought it would be best to close the school for the three days and do distance learning. It also gives us time to contact trace,” Cavallaro said.
