terrifying moments as bullets flew across i-580, while garrett mason and his fiance were leaving oakland to drive to pleasanton a couple weeks ago. i noticed the vehicle in front there passenger scott outside of there window. basically we re sitting. and their passenger side window facing backwards and then literally a second later, you hear about 4 gunshots. i believe one of went to of this vehicle. mason says the stray bullet entered his passenger side window. just barely missing his fiance. and exited out the back window shot he says it was a close call, but they re both physically okay. jason says he saw the 2 suspect vehicles minutes before the shooting began in broad daylight approaching the freeway. a vehicle. kind of us off at a four-way stop. and at that point. that he got onto on-ramp and the vehicle behind me was also on my tail. those 2 vehicles then broke off and started the and weaves through traffic. he says the suspect shot at a black mercedes car

Live, from the cbs bay area studios, this is kpix5 news. Breaking news. Deadly Movie Theater shooting. They were watching a hit comedy when all of a sudden, a man in the audience took out a gun. It happened in lafayette, louisiana, 60 miles from baton rouge. Lets get to veronica de la cruz with the latest. Reporter three people are dead tonight including the gunman. Seven others wounded. Police say the gunman took his own life. The only details are he is a 58 yearold white male. The shooting happened just after 5 00 our time at the Grand Theater 16. The gunman entered a showing of the comedy trainwreck. About 20 minutes into the movie, he stood up in the back and began to shoot. There were about 100 people inside at the time and the scene was chaotic. Four officers entered the theater to engage the shooter. They heard shots being fired upon their arrival. One woman was shot in the leg. She was able to get out. I guess she went to the front of the theater. My daughter was in the same th
