He set up the service in 2013 after returning from a working holiday in Australia. “I was one of the first in the area.” In 2021, there is a number of dog walking businesses available to West Cumbrians, but Lee said: “The good thing about dog walking businesses is we all work together, they all communicate.”

The churchyard wall at St Mary’s in Ennerdale is in a poor state, and the church council has now set up a crowdfunding page in a bid to stop parts of it collapsing altogether. Tree roots have been identified as the main cause of damage to the wall and the repairs are estimated to cost about £60,000.
