Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday accused the Election Commission (EC) of being unfair to West Bengal for scheduling the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state in eight phases. The Mamata Banerjee-led party further alleged that the eight-phase elections will cause immense problem to the people of the state and expressed strong objection to the plan.
