Black History School is a new, 6-month online programme for children and families in the UK. It has been created to enhance children’s understanding and appreciation of Black history, while providing emotional and practical support for parents and carers. The project is founded by
Humblebee Creative and supported by Rich Mix London thanks to funding from Necessity and The National Lottery Community Fund. This dynamic programme aims to transform the understanding of Black British history by reclaiming its narrative and exploring the great contributions made to the world. Without a complete knowledge and appreciation of Black history, how can we truly understand and create positive changes now and for future generations?
