New this morning a deputy involved shooting. In pasco county. One man, is now dead. And a pregnant woman caught in the middle. Is safe. It happened last night in the 52 hundred block of blue jay drive in the area of holiday and new port richey. Neighbors say they heard a couple fighting in the house they heard a man yell that he had a gun. And thats when they called 911. Deputies arrived around nine pm. A pregnant woman ran outside. And said the man inside had knives and guns. Deputies also saw the man with a knife. And heard the man say he was . Not going to surrender and deputies would have to kill him. Deputies tried negotiating with him for about two hours. Then, they used tear gas. And the swat team entered. They tased him. And he still charged at deputies. Thats when they opened fire killing him. The mans name has not been released because next of kin has not been notified. The pregnant woman and deputies were . Not seriously injured.
