Wentworth-Douglass Center for Heart Health earns reaccreditation

DOVER – The Center for Heart Health at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital has been granted an additional three-year term of echocardiography accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
Echocardiography is used to assess different areas of the heart and can detect heart disease or signs of serious conditions.
Accreditation by IAC indicates that Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s Center for Heart Health has undergone an intensive application and review process. The accreditation was comprised of a detailed self-evaluation, followed by a thorough review by a panel of medical experts.
This IAC indicates that this latest accreditation awarded to Wentworth-Douglass “demonstrates the facility’s ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care.”
