In light of this, several stores have announced that customers will not be required to mask up in their buildings, including Stop & Shop.
While the restrictions are being completely lifted by Saturday, May 29, local officials ask that residents consider keeping a mask handy in the event that some businesses continue to require them. Ms. Northcross, who is the recent winner of the 2021 Mercy Otis Warren Cape Cod Woman of the Year, is leaving at the end of June after 24 years with the chamber.
Mr. Niedzwiecki is a resident of West Barnstable and is a public policy professional and attorney. He is no stranger to being in public roles on the Cape. For more than 11 years, he served as the executive director of the Cape Cod Commission, from 2007 to 2018. He has also been a vice president at Cape Cod Healthcare, a role he held from May 2019 until August 2020.
