The Pulaski County Election Commission on Tuesday made official the results from the Nov. 14 school elections in the Little Rock School District as well as in the North Little Rock and Pulaski County Special school districts where "elections by candidate" occurred.
Anna Strong’s path to election Tuesday to the Little Rock School Board’s Zone 5 seat took an unusual twist, but she won in the contest with Donnally Davis whose name remained on the ballot despite withdrawing from the race weeks ago.
Polling places are open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Little Rock School Board’s Zone 5 where Anna Strong is actively seeking election to the board seat in a contest from which her only opponent withdrew.
Tuesday is school board/millage election day in those Arkansas school districts that hold their school-related elections in November as opposed to the spring of the year.
