Reporter they are getting ready, juliette. They are gathering here along the embarcadero as the fireworks will start about an hour from now on pier 14. If you look closely, you can see a lot of gaps in there, a lot of space between people, a really small crowd compared to years past, much milder and Law Enforcement hopes it stays that way. Westbound 580. Not a bad drive at all. In fact, this seems to be the case for most of our freeways. Very lightly traveled this early morning. If you are working your way westbound 580, out of the altamont pass. No troubles getting over to 680. Speeds down to about 40 miles per hour. But not seeing any accidents or incidents. So taking it a little slow there. Give yourself 22 minutes minutes to make that portion of the drive. And loveridge to 80, that is clear all the way to 680 to eastshore freeway.
