agrimm@heraldstaronline.com YOUNG GENERATION HONORING THE PAST — Members of the Tri-State Young Marines, based out of Weirton, and volunteers removed decorative wreaths placed on the graves of veterans in December through the Wreaths Across America program at Union Cemetery on Saturday afternoon. Andrew Grimm STEUBENVILLE Sometimes a common goal can bring organizations together. A common goal between the Tri-State Young Marines and Wreaths Across America is to honor and remember veterans. Saturday, the Young Marines, as well as some volunteers, completed this year’s Wreaths Across America mission at Steubenville’s Union Cemetery by removing wreaths placed on Dec. 19, as well as cleaning up any trash that may have been present.
