ST. PAUL A man was shot and killed while driving in St. Paul Thursday night, Dec. 16.
Jeff Mintz, formerly of Rochester, called police after he d been shot. He was St. Paul s 32nd homicide victim this year.

A 55-year-old man who was able to call 911 after being shot while in his car Wednesday night did not survive, with police now trying to find out why anyone would shoot the former lawyer and father of two.
Jeffrey A. Mintz was driving along University Avenue at Snelling Avenue in St. Paul around 10 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot. Mintz called 911 from his Toyota Prius, where officers found him suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his chest.

ST. PAUL A man who reported to police that he d been shot while driving Thursday night in St. Paul and later died has been identified as a man with Rochester ties.
A family member has confirmed to the Post Bulletin that Jeff Mintz, formerly of Rochester, was St. Paul s 32nd homicide victim this year.
St. Paul police said the man died about two hours after he called 911 and reported that someone had shot him.
The Pioneer Press reported that police found him in his Toyota Prius in the area of University and Snelling avenues. He appeared to have been shot in the chest, police said.
