South Kesteven District Council will take control of four leisure centres in the area with its new leisure company.
LeisureSK Ltd, South Kesteven’s wholly-owned new leisure company, will take over centres in Grantham, Stamford and Bourne, as well as a new centre at the Deepings, in the new year.
The company takes over from 1Life, with existing staff transferring to be part of the LesiureSK team, saving jobs in the process.

We may not get a white Christmas, but the Met Office weather forecast shows warnings of ice and wind over the holidays in Lincolnshire.
The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for ice over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Lincolnshire, as well as another yellow warning for wind on Boxing Day and December 27.
Temperatures of 3℃ and 4℃ are expected in Lincoln on December 24 and 25, with it rising to 9℃ and 6℃ respectively on Boxing Day and December 27.

A 41-year-old woman has been released on bail following her arrest after a stabbing on Portland Street in Lincoln.
Officers were called to the scene off Lincoln High Street at 6.43pm on Tuesday, December 22 after a 37-year-old man suffered serious injuries as a result of a stab wound in his leg.
Two people, a 41-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, were arrested on Wednesday, December 23 on suspicion of conspiring to cause GBH.
