WELCOME to the second chapter of the chronicles of Llanidloes Town. In 1951 the Daffodils became the first champions of the Welsh National League (Mid Wales) completing a double by lifting the league cup - a trophy they would lift again in 1954 and 1959. The club were once again Welsh Amateur Cup winners in 1965. Further league championships followed in 1972 and 1974 and in 1981 the club emulated the feat of 30 years earlier when completing another league and cup double and won the Central Wales Cup in 1984. Llanidloes were founder members of the Cymru Alliance in 1990 and League of Wales in 1992. However the club were relegated after one season in the new top flight and by 1999 had dropped as low as the Montgomeryshire League.
