Members of Wellsburg Elks Lodge 1553 presented a donation to volunteers behind the Follansbee R.E.A.C.H. Program, a local food pantry. The donation is part of a $3,500 Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant the lodge secured and divided among the Brooke County Public Library, A Child’s Place Court-Appointed Special Advocates, the Brooke County Salvation Army and the St. John Catholic Church food pantry in Wellsburg. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Bruce Cionni, Wellsburg Elks exulted ruler; R.E.A.C.H. volunteer Karen Hager; Bonnie James, the food pantry’s director; and Katy O’Connell, the lodge’s treasurer.
