Stemming from an incident on january 18th. According to the d. A. Turner was sexually assaulting an unconcious woman on campus when two bicyclists witnessed the rape. The d. A. Says he ran away but the two on the bicycles chased him down and held him until campus polic arrived. He was booked into the county jail that night. Stanford alumna sally lieber says the arrest has enhanced the dialog of rape on campus and what needs to be done to stop it. The there is now obviously a star athlete at stanford that is on trial and i think this will be a help the process on the issue of campus rapes which will help the students and administration and parents and friends of students helped talk more about it.
