The special prosecutor investigating the case is expected to make the announcement at 11 00 this morning in missouri. Ellingson died at the lake of the ozarks in may of 2014, while in Missouri State patrol custody on suspicion of boating while intoxicated. Admits he did not properly put a life jacket on him. Heres some of the red paint and stuff that was left. Tire tracks show the driver continued toward a set of memorial benches. Hitting several benches and smashing one into several little pieces. Eric a creston man died wednesday after being buried for bin accident. It happened on a farm along kendall street near murray in clarke county. Officials say 39yearold Eric Reasland was trying to get grain out of the bin but a crust had formed on the top of the grain. He was trying to break up that crust and fell down into the grain itself. Rescuers looked for about 90 minutes before finding reaslands body the accident remains under investigation. Happening today, a pretrial conference is set for 17yearold noah laprei. Hes facing first degree murder charges in the death of his own grandmother. Laprei is accused of beating 79yearold rachel pray to death back on october 10. Shaina this morning, we are one day closer to the rose bowl. It is one day and 11 hours and eight minutes away to be precise. Needless to say, the Hawkeye State is excited. Iowa fans in pasadena came together for the first big rally on wednesday. The iowa marching band were on hand. Organizers say they planned for 15,000 fans but closer to 20,000 showed up in los angeles. From algona to mount ayr, almost every county in the state was represented, ready to cheer on the hawkeyes. The rose bowl is the granddaddy of them all and i missed the 91 rose bowl and i figured if they ever made it back i would be out here. This is a great environment, great for the state, great for the players, and great for kirk ferentz. Its just like in iowa city taking over pasadena. Stumped. In october, aircare rushed little liam young to university of iowa hospitals and clinics. But after he got there, doctors couldnt figure out what he had. Kcrgtv9s Forrest Saunders joins us from the cedar rapids newsroom this morning. Forrest, how is liam doing now . Doctors say hes over the hill and on his way to recovery, but it was a long road to get this far. Liam coded and had to be resuscitated. After, liams heart wasnt getting enough oxygen to the rest of his body. His liver, kidneys and more were shutting down. Liams skin developed bruises and blisters. His fingers and toes started turning black, many had to be amputated. Doctors treated him with blood transfusions, dialysis and many antibiotics. In hindsight, they think it was meanwhile the medical bills are pilling up for liams parents. Ive already gotten three folders with the explanations of benefits from our insurance company.
