Shelby bed and breakfast offers unique experience
A local business owner aims to bring something unique, with a touch of European flare, to the area with her bed and breakfast.
Morgan and Wells Bed and Breakfast opened in Shelby several years ago, but business owner Melanie Graham said she continues to add new elements.
Graham drew inspiration from her time living in Europe and used that to fuel her inspiration not only for decorating, but preserving the house itself.
“This particular style of home happens to speak to the craftsmanship and architect that had those type of skills, said Graham. What I found is that in the United States we are really quick to tear things down. Look at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. All they did was scaffold it to retain it.”
