Thanks to Ron and Cindy Harper and their kids and grandkids, the amusement park, now called The Rush Event Center, is getting a new breath of life and the opportunity to provide the community of Evans with its own event and center and attractions.
After taking a few years off, the popular AgriCULTURE Feast returned to the Centennial Village Museum on Thursday evening with delightful food and drinks prepared by local culinary and beverage professionals. Sponsored by PDC Energy, Leprino Foods, the city of Greeley, Colorado Creative Industries, KUNC, the Colorado Sound 105.5 and High Country Beverage, the event raises money for the Greeley Creative District.
After a brief hiatus, the Greeley Creative District is bringing back its popular AgriCULTURE Feast at 5:30 p.m.Thursday at the Centennial Village Museum,1475 A. St. in Greeley.The event will feature freshly prepared dishes from local chefs such as Leah Widhalm, lead chef with Banner Health, using local produce and ingredients.
For the past several years, organizers of Monster Day have chosen one special Saturday in August that allows monsters of all different shapes and sizes to slither, creep and crawl their way to downtown Greeley to take part in a variety of fun activities.
