Pivot Energy donated $85,000 one of the largest single gifts received in Bright Futures’ eight-year history and challenged donors at the Weld Legacy Foundation’s 34th-annual gala to match it. That resulted in an Bright Futures raising additional $96,650, according to a release by the Weld Legacy Foundation.
"We're never done. We're always looking at how to raise the bar more . Once we've got this down, OK, what do we do next? How do we get to the next group of people that needs help?"
“We are excited to deepen the impact Bright Futures will have on Weld County both for the students as well as the employers throughout the community,” said Bright Futures CEO Jeff Carlson said in a news release.
