Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The 33-year-old midfielder was due to become a free agent in the summer but he has now put pen to paper on a deal which will see him stay at the club until June 2024.
Reus originally joined Dortmund at the age of six. He progressed through the ranks of Dortmund’s academy before joining Rot Weiss Ahlen and then Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Germany international, who has been capped 48 times by his country, rejoined Dortmund in 2012.
