Danny Kingad of Team Lakay (ONE Championship)
Team Lakay’s flyweight bet Danny Kingad is raring to face reigning ONE world champion Adriano Moraes in the Circle.
Currently the No. 2 contender, Kingad is likely to face either Moraes or No. 1 fighter Demetrious Johnson in both rematch scenarios.
The odds of facing Moraes were raised after the Brazilian champion stunned Johnson in their blockbuster matchup last April in ONE on TNT I at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
“Ready [na] ready na ako sa title shot,” said Kingad, who holds a record 14-2 record. “If in case na ipapalaro nila (ONE) sa akin ‘yung champion, kukunin ko talaga. And ‘di natin alam ‘yung [decision] ng ONE. Kung sino man sa kanila, kakalabanin ko.”
