Los Ãngeles (EEUU) – El cantante The Weeknd figura como protagonista, cocreador, coguionista y productor ejecutivo de «The Idol», una serie que está preparando HBO y que tiene también entre sus responsables a Sam Levinson, el impulsor de «Euphoria».
La revista Variety detalló este martes que The Weeknd liderará delante y detrás de las cámaras esta serie sobre una cantante que comienza una relación con el misterioso propietario de un club de Los Ãngeles (EEUU), que en realidad es el lÃder de una secta.
The Weeknd será el creador de «The Idol» junto a Reza Fahim y Sam Levinson. Al margen de su estelar carrera musical, The Weeknd también ha probado suerte en el pasado en el cine y la televisión de manera puntual.
