now it s time for a look at the weather. good afternoon. we are likely to close out friday as we began, with plenty of sharp, thundery downpours around. because of this area of low pressure, which is really not moving very far very fast. so far today, the heaviest of the rain has been further north, but as we go through the evening hours and overnight, you can see widespread showers to begin with and then more sharper showers develop across parts of west wales and maybe moving up through the essex and kent coast as well. it stays relatively mild, so a mild start to begin work on saturday, but then we do it all again. plenty of showers spiralling around that low, so starting off out to the west and then drifting their way further east, perhaps eastern areas seeing fewer showers but you won t be immune to them altogether. top temperatures by saturday afternoon peaking at 20 degrees, and little in the way of change as we move into sunday. so if you haven t already guessed it, yes, our wee
