Robin Autopilot acquires Mowbot in sign of growing market for robotic mowers

Robin Autopilot, a U.S. franchising platform for robotic mowers headquartered in Dallas but owned and operated by Strongsville holding company Fahey Group, has acquired Mowbot, a robotic lawn care franchise business based in North Carolina that operates in 16 markets.
Financial terms of the deal, which closed Thursday, April 15, were not disclosed.
The deal also expands a partnership with Swedish manufacturer Husqvarna Group, which is an investor in Mowbot and now is a minority shareholder in Robin.

DALLAS, April 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Robin Autopilot USA, a leader in robotic mowing technology, announced today that it has acquired Mowbot, a robotic lawn care franchise business with 16 locations throughout the U.S. As part of the acquisition, Robin Autopilot will launch a newly expanded partnership with Husqvarna Group, a major investor in Mowbot and a current equity partner of Robin.
