Before we get into today s prompt, I just want to mention that this will be the final Wednesday Poetry Prompt until May. In April, we ll be doing the 14th annual April poem-a-day challenge (guidelines here), and starting Monday, we ll be doing the 2nd ever April poem-a-day countdown challenge (announcement here). So if you re feeling up to it, start poeming every day on Monday.
For today s prompt, write a spring poem. The first day of spring is Saturday, and I m seeing all the tell-tale signs of the season around me here in Georgia: flowers blooming, birds twittering, and even bees buzzing. And, of course, we adjusted our clocks this past weekend (still getting adjusted to that).
