The pandemic changed wedding plans for lots of couples during the last year, but one bride is trying to cover her losses with a unique idea. Mackenzie Newcomb
planned her dream wedding in Brooklyn, but she moved out of New York last year and ended up saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony in Massachusetts instead. Now she’s trying to sell her fully planned and booked event to another New York City-based couple at a discount.
The newlywed took to
TikTokto pitch the deal to “an engaged New Yorker” with “a low budget and exquisite taste.” The September event is booked for 80 people and it includes a venue, food, alcohol, flowers, a photographer and a DJ. The only things not included are the tip for the restaurant and clothes, but Newcomb says she’s willing to throw in her wedding dress if the new bride is the same size!
